The results for burden at follow-up are inconclusive, as the large combined effect was predominantly driven by the effect reported by Kolostoumpis et al (2015). It could be that contact with professionals and other caregivers reduces burden in the short-term, but interventions are not sufficient to sustain this in the long-term.…”

“…Quando comparados ambos os grupos, os estudos identificaram que pacientes que receberam a Psicoeducação apresentaram maior adesão medicamentosa, porém tal dado foi medido baseado em auto relatos de pacientes e familiares. Além disso, as pesquisas evidenciaram melhoria de qualidade de vida, redução de recaídas e recorrência, diminuição do número de internações e melhora da adesão medicamentosa dos indivíduos que receberam a Psicoeducação(JAVADPOUR et al, 2013;FARIDHOSSEINI et al, 2017).Além do artigode De Souza et al (2016), mais dois avaliaram a eficácia da Psicoeducação em cuidadores(KOLOSTOUMPIS et al, 2015;HUBBARD et al, 2016).Kolostoumpis et al (2015) realizaram sete sessões de Psicoeducação para familiares/cuidadores para investigar a eficácia da Psicoeducação em relação aos seguintes resultados: a) conhecimento dos familiares sobre a doença; b) carga familiar; e c) sofrimento psíquico dos familiares. Após a intervenção, o estudo identificou um aumento no conhecimento sobre o TAB, diminuição da sobrecarga subjetiva e do sofrimento psicológico nos cuidadores.…”
