Effectiveness of removing microbial pollutants from wastewater by the activated sludge method

Abstract: Wastewater contains numerous saprophytic microorganisms, pathogenic and potentially pathogenic. Detection of bacteria indicating the sanitary state of polluted waters shows the possibility of occurring of pathogenic microorganisms in that environment.
