Effects of aircraft noise exposure on saliva cortisol near airports in France

Abstract: These findings provide some support for a psychological stress induced by aircraft noise exposure, resulting in HPA dysregulation and a flattened cortisol rhythm, thus contributing to cardiovascular diseases.
