Abstract: The predatory bug Cyrtorhinus lividipennis Reuter (Hemiptera: Miridae) is an important biological control agent for planthoppers, such as Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) (Hemiptera: Delphacidae), and leafhoppers in rice fields (Oryza sativa L., Poaceae).
