Effects of clozapine-N-oxide and compound 21 on sleep in laboratory mice

Abstract: Designer Receptors Exclusively Activated by Designer Drugs (DREADDs) are chemogenetic tools that modulate a targeted cell population using chemical ligands which bind specifically to modified receptors.
