Effects of Compression Stockings on Body Balance in Hemiplegic Patients with Subacute Stroke

Abstract: (1) Background: Stroke patients with hemiplegia have an increased risk of developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT). DVT increases the risk of life-threatening pulmonary embolism and is associated with poor prognosis. The early wearing of compression stockings can help prevent DVT.
