Effects of dexmedetomidine on inflammatory responses in patients undergoing major abdominal surgeries

Abstract: Background: Surgical injury to tissue as in major abdominal surgeries causes a variety of profound inflammatory response which may lead to postoperative complications with significant co morbidity.
