We might say that dexmedetomidine may have modified cortisol release but not completely inhibited steroidogenesis as part of an inevitable physiological response, putting into consideration the time of starting dexmedetomidine administration, we also did not measure the level of serum catecholamine and IL6 as a part of the whole process to fully judge the entire scene.…”
