Abstract:This investigation explores the relationships between the structure and properties of surface-grafted cellulose nanofiber (CNF)-based one-component composites. Critical parameters, including graft density, graft chain length, and interface structure, were systematically modified. Increasing the graft density and hydrophobic modification of the CNF surface significantly improved the thermal stability. Reducing the graft chain length increased the T g of the graft chain. The hydrophobic modification of the CNF s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
