Abstract:Background: According to International Diabetic Federation, around 20-25% of world adult population have the clinical features of metabolic syndrome (MetS). Different organizations recommend to modify lifestyle and dietary habit as primary intervention. Green tea has several pharmacological effects on metabolic diseases including MetS.
