Effects ofHouttuynia cordataExtracts of Different Aerial Parts on Antioxidants and Anti-inflammatory

Abstract: The current study was carried out to determine the effects of the leaf and root of Houttuynia cordata Thunb on antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Total polyphenol contents of leaf and root ethanol extracts were found to be 59.32 and 12.07 mg/g, respectively. Also, total flavonoid contents of leaf and root ethanol extracts were found to be 10.85 and 8.55 mg/g, respectively.
