Taking urban public transit network as research perspective, this work introduces the in°uences of adjacent stations on de¯nition of station initial load, the connected edge transit capacity, and the coupled capacity to modify traditional load-capacity cascading failures (CFs) model. Furthermore, we consider the coupled e®ect of lower layered public transit network on the CFs of upper layered public transit network, and construct CFs coupled model of double layered public transit network with \interdependent relationship". Finally, taking Jinan city's public transit network as example, we give the dynamics simulation analysis of CFs under di®erent control parameters based on measurement indicator of station cascading failures ratio (abbreviated as CF) and the scale of time-step cascading failures (abbreviated as TCF l ), get the in°uencing characteristics of various control parameters, and verify the feasibility of CFs coupled model of double layered public transit network. However, all kinds of real networks do not exist in isolation, but are composed of a plurality of sub-networks with interdependent relationship, i.e. multiple layered network. The multiple layered network widely exists in the real world. 21-23 Considering the in°uences of interdependent relationship between the sub-networks, can profoundly reveal the dynamics evolution mechanism in complex system. In recent years, modeling and simulation of CF in multiple layered network with interdependent relationship has become the hot topics in the study of network survivability. Buldyrev et al. 24 developed a framework to understand the CF of interdependent networks that coupled by power transmission network and internet communication network, and got that comparing with the single layered network, a broader degree distribution increases the vulnerability of interdependent networks to random failures, which highlights the importance to understand interdependent networks properties. Wang et al. 25 proposed the load assignment method of interdependent networks and constructed a new cascading load model, got that comparing with the disassortative link (DL) pattern between two sub-networks, the assortative link (AL) pattern can improve the robust level of the entire interdependent networks, and gave the mechanism why the lower load nodes can more likely trigger the CF.
