Danika obtained a degree in Kinesiology / Human Kinetics with a speciality in Health Promotion and a certification in Personal Training for the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Following this, she completed her Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies between Health Sciences and Psychology at the University of British Columbia, in which her research focused on the role of exercise in the treatment of eating disorders. Since her MSc, Danika has contributed peer reviewed publications to the field of exercise and eating disorders, perfectionism, body image and problematic internet use. Danika has presented as a guest speaker and has achieved national recognition for her contributions to the field of exercise and eating disorders. Currently, she is undertaking her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Western University.
