Abstract:T. In the present study, performance and emission changes in a compression ignition engine were investigated by combining two methods. The first method involves adding nanoparticle additives to diesel fuel. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) with a particle size of 21 nm was used as nanoparticle. TiO2 was added to diesel fuel at doses of 50 mg and 100 mg per 1 kg (50 and 100 ppm).
