Abstract:Manipulation of circularly polarized light (CPL) in the ultraviolet (UV) region holds significant potential for advancing chiral molecules sensing. Recently, chiral metasurfaces have been applied to control CPL in the UV region. However, the spectral selectivity of the existing UV chiral metasurfaces is still limited. Here, we report rod-shaped and ring-shaped metasurfaces sustaining perpendicularly aligned magnetic dipoles (MDs) and capable of inducing narrowband transmission dips. These MDs can be selectivel… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
