Abstract:Background: The syndrome of kidney-yang deficiency is one of the main syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine. Modern evidences prove that the hypothalamus - pituitary - adrenal axis (HPA axis) function disorder is the main material basis of kidney-yang deficiency syndrome.
