“…As shown in Figure S2a, the deconvoluted peaks at higher binding energy can be attributed to the Fe 3+ 2p3/2 in the octahedral interstice (denoted as Fe 3+ (O), 710.6 eV) and Fe 3+ in the octahedral interstice (denoted as Fe 3+ (T), 713.0 eV), and the atomic ratio of Fe 3+ concentration in octahedral and tetrahedral interstice is 0.7 : 0.3 [19] . As shown in Figure S2b, the Ni2p XPS spectrum reveals the oxidation valence of +2, and similarly, the Ni 2+ concentration in octahedral and tetrahedral interstice is also 0.7 : 0.3 [2e] …”

“…It was noted that the (003) diffraction peak shifted toward higher 2 θ after leaching at 60 °C and 80 °C compared with that after leaching at 25 °C and 40 °C, likely due to the migration of Ni 2+ to the Li + layer. Ni 2+ (0.069 nm) 46 and Li + (0.076 nm) 47 have similar radii. Since Ni 2+ has one more positive charge than Li + , when the Ni 2+ occupied the vacancies created by the removal of Li + , the electrostatic attraction between Ni–O reduced the distance between metal–oxygen octahedral layers, resulting in the decrease of the lattice parameter in the c -axis direction, 48 so the (003) diffraction peak shifted toward higher 2 θ .…”

“…Furthermore, a comparison with other ferrites prepared by the combustion method was listed in Table 2, which also highlights the excellent magnetic properties of porous NCZF hierarchies. The anisotropy constant (K 1 ) can be calculated according to Eq.3 [23] K…”
