Effects of pig leukocytes on mouse lymphatic leukemia

Abstract: Sensitized leukocytes from live pigs and isolated, perfused pig spleens produced a significant immunotherapeutic effect in AKR mice injected with syngeneic BW 5147 lymphatic leukemia. Therapeutically useful leukocytes were obtained from tumor-sensitized ex vivo perfused pig spleens and from both spleens and peripheral blood of tumor-sensitized live pigs.
