Effects of Preparation Parameters of a One-Pot Approach on the Conductivity, Structure, and Chemical Composition of Silver/Reduced-Graphene Oxide Composite

Abstract: Electrically conductive polymer composites (CPCs) consisting of dispersed conductive filler in a polymer matrix continue to attract increasing academic and industrial research. A facile strategy to synthesize an Ag/rGO/epoxy conductive composite by a one-pot fabrication process is proposed. The effects of the preparation parameters of the one-pot approach on the conductivity, structure, and chemical composition of Ag/rGO composite are investigated, and the correlation between the preparation parameters and the… Show more

“…Due to its large oxygen-functional groups, the R s of the nearly insulated GO cannot be measured . However, the R s of the rGO film made from GO after 24 h reduction was 463 ± 27 Ω·sq –1 , indicating that rGO possessed conductivity, similar to the published literature . Subsequently, we examined the conductivity of the rGO/G films using rGO obtained from the reduction of GO at different times to visually illustrate the impact of rGO on the conductivity of graphene films.…”

As shown in Figure 3a, the R s value of the original GO/G film was as high as 251 ± 9 Ω•sq −1 , while the R s value of the rGO/G films decreased much more.…”
