Effects of quintessence and configuration of strings on the black holes of Lovelock-scalar gravity

Abstract: Lovelock gravity containing dimensionally continued Euler densities can be considered as a natural extension of Einstein’s theory of gravity in higher dimensions such that the associated differential equations of motion are still second order. In this paper, the Lovelock gravity is coupled with a scalar field and dimensionally continued hairy black holes in the presence of quintessential matter and cloud of strings are analyzed. Thermodynamics of these black holes is discussed as well. It is shown that the the… Show more

“…There have been many interesting solutions describing hairy black holes in literature (see e.g. [66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73]). Here, we focus on a hairy black hole spacetime in Horndeski gravity [66][67][68][69].…”

“…Lovelock gravity [1] represents a generalization of Einstein's theory of general relativity to higher dimensions within the realm of higher curvature gravity theories. Several aspects of Lovelock theories in general dimensions are studied in [2,3,4,5,6], particularly, the thermodynamic properties of the Lovelock black hole [7,8,9,10,11,12]. The articles [13,14,15] focused on investigating the third-order Lovelock gravity with black holes.…”

“…Furthermore, the effects of the NLED models on the black holes of various gravity theories were extensively investigated in refs. [85–121]. Among the earlier mentioned work, the investigation of charged black holes in massive gravity has been done in refs.…”
