Abstract:Background: We recently documented that cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for hypothermic cardiac arrest maintains cardiac output (CO) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) to the same reduced level during normothermia (38°C) vs. hypothermia (27°C).
