Scrophularia ningpoensis Hemsl. is a plant belonging to the family Scrophulariaceae Juss. Its dry roots are used as medicine. The medicinal ingredients of S. ningpoensis mainly include iridoids, polysaccharides, phenylpropanes, organic acids and other compounds (Liu et al. 2021(Liu et al. , 2022.
