Abstract:Several polysaccharide sulfates (heparin, dextran sulfate, chitin disulfate, cellulose sulfate) and some phosphates (α-tocopherol phosphate, polyphloretin phosphate, hexametaphosphate) were investigated for their direct effects on fibrinolytic agents (neutral proteases and plasminogen activators). α-Tocopherol phosphate and polyphloretin phosphate were strong inhibitors.
