Abstract: Methylphenidate (MPH) is a psychostimulant that blocks reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine via their transporters. Currently, MPH is used for the treatment of narcolepsy and is the most common medication used for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
