Effects of Topical Honey Dressing on Infected Wounds after Gynecological and Obstetrical Abdominal Surgery

Abstract: Despite use of prophylactic antibiotics, wound infections remain common. Post operative wound infections develop in 4% of patients following inpatient gynecologic surgery and in 5% to 7% of patients undergoing primary cesarean section.
