Abstract:The nutritional value of blood meal was investigated for its effects on the growth and mortality in African Catfish Clarias gariepinus Juveniles during a 56 days experiment. Blood was gotten from a local abattoir in the Muea neighbourhood and used to produce blood meal which was included in the fish feed at 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%.
