Abstract:Background: Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for calcium metabolism, maintaining calcium homeostasis, and supporting skeletal mineralization. Low maternal levels of vitamin D during pregnancy are linked to various adverse neonatal outcomes.
