Abstract: lepharospasm (BPS) and hemifacial spasm (HFS) are the most common movement disorders of the craniofacial area. BPS is a focal dystonia characterized by involuntary and forced closure of eyelids due to spasmodic contractions of the orbital and periorbital muscles.
