Abstract: Background Primary pulmonary lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (PLELC) is a rare and unique subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Studies reporting on salvage treatment for pretreated PLELC are limited. Positive interactions between gemcitabine (GEM) and capecitabine (CAP) have been demonstrated in preclinical studies.
