Abstract: Introduction. The rise of multi-drug-resistant bacteria poses a global threat. In 2017, the World Health Organization identified 12 antibiotic-resistant ‘priority pathogens’, including Enterobacteriaceae, highlighting the menace of Gram-negative bacteria.
