Abstract: Introduction: For over twenty-five years, cholinesterase inhibitors (ChEIs) have been the main symptomatic treatment for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Several meta-analyses have supported their efficacy in various neurocognitive, functional, and behavioral aspects of amnestic AD.
