Abstract: <b><i>Introduction:</i></b> Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is the primary risk factor for keratinocyte carcinomas. Oral supplementation with nicotinamide (NAM) is reported to reduce the formation of new keratinocyte carcinomas. NAM’s photoprotection is mediated by enhanced DNA repair.
