Efficacy of Insecticides Against American Serpentine Leaf Miner Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess) in Water Melon

Abstract: A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of certain selective insecticides against the serpentine leaf miner Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess) in water melon Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum and Nakai. The hybrid F1 (Melody) was sown in protray and 13 days old seedlings were transplanted in the main field.
