To examine the impact of single vs. many treatments of PRP for suffering and functioning in patients with knee OA, extensive searching was done for RCTs published between 1970 and 2019. The information systems “MEDLINE, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials” were searched. Data on patients, interventions, comparisons, and meaningful outcomes were collected using a data extraction tool to contain research bibliographic material. The statistics regarding the immediate results were combined using a random effects framework. With a low-moderate risk of bias and 301 patient reports, we considered clinical studies.
