Efficacy of Intraventricular Sponge Placement to Capture Debris in Aortic Valve Replacement

Abstract: Objective: Surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) carries the known risk of shedding debris into the left ventricle during valve leaflet excision and annulus debridement.
