Abstract: BACKGROUND Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) is a common form of chronic glomerulonephritis. Currently, IgAN is one of the main causes of chronic renal failure in China; its prognosis varies greatly between patients, with renal function at the time of diagnosis and prognosis being strongly correlated.
