Efficacy of the Nasolabial Flap in Reconstruction of Small Post-Ablative Defects of the Orofacial Region

Abstract: BACKGROUNDResection of malignant lesions results in significant aesthetic and functional defects of the face and oral cavity. Reconstruction of large defects can be done with free and pedicled flaps. Because of bulk of pedicled flaps they may not give good cosmetic and functional results. Small-to-medium sized defects can be best managed by various local flaps.
