Abstract:Toxoplasmosis is a worldwide parasitic disease that affects about one third of the population. The infection may range from asymptomatic to severe deadly in immunocompromised patients. Unfortunately, the available drugs are toxic and cannot eradicate bradyzoites in chronic disease.
