Abstract:Background: Urinary catheterization frequently leads to catheter-related bladder discomfort (CRBD) in male patients after general anesthesia. This prospective cohort trial aimed to prove the efficacy of unilateral ilioinguinal transversus abdominis plane block (TAPB) in attenuating CRBD in male patients.
