Abstract:The present study on role of colloids in diagnosis and management of ascites in dogs was carried out. On screening, 174 dogs were found to be suffered from abdominal distension out of 4372 dogs. Out of which 30 cases of ascites was confirmed. Total 18 cases of ascites were selected and divided into 3 groups as T1 to T3 having 6 dogs each.
