Abstract:The efficacy of a veterinary antidiarrheal agent (BB) and veterinary antiflatulent (DB) were evaluated in clinical cases of dogs with acute diarrhea, in a comparison with a medical antidiarrheal for human (Ph) and placebo (P). A total of 126 dogs were assigned to one of the following treatment groups: single dose of BB, DB, or BB plus DB, and Ph or P as the control.
