Abstract:Genetic parameters of some characters in rice evaluated with the use of two mating design: diallel and NCIII. Analysis of variance showed significant differences among genotypes for all studied traits in diallel and north NCIII mating design. The results of genetic parameter estimations for diallel mating design revealed the existence of additive-dominance effects in controlling studied traits. Relatively high broad sense heritability observed in Kernel Length (KL) and Final Viscosity (FV) trough diallel matin… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
