Abstract:In the present work, freshly prepared from urea powders of graphite carbon nitride were subjected to ultrasonic exfoliation and were used to evaluate their adsorption efficiency for iron and copper ions from an aqueous solution. It has been established that the sorption efficiency is significantly affected by the pH of the medium, the contact time, and the initial concentration of metal ions.
