Abstract:Fast neutron identification and spectroscopy is of great interest to nuclear physics experiments. Using the neutron elastic scattering, the fast neutron momentum can be measured. Ref. [1] introduced the theoretical concept that the initial fast neutron momentum can be derived from up to three consecutive elastic collisions between the neutron and the target, including the information of two consecutive recoil ion tracks and the vertex position of the third collision or two consecutive elastic collisions with t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
