Abstract: NaHSO 4. H 2 O -supported CrO 3 is used for the efficient oxidative cleavage of oximes, hydrazones, semicarbazones and azines to their corresponding carbonyl compounds under mild and completely heterogeneous reaction conditions with good to high yields.
