Efficient synthesis of kainic acid analogues

Abstract: The present paper deals with an improved synthesis of two molecular hybrids of AMPA and KA, compounds CIP-A and CIP-B, and their transformation into CIOP-A and CIOP-B, the corresponding amido derivatives.
