Abstract:Twisting of the spatial structure of eigenmodes by energy fluxes generated due to the spatial channeling (SC)—the fast-ion energy and momentum transfer across the magnetic field by destabilized modes—is considered. It is revealed that there is a correlation between the direction of the radial wave energy flux, orientation of the mode twist (MT), and the direction of mode rotation.
