Abstract: Having the memorization of the quran is one of the identities that must be owned as the students at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Pengembangan Ilmu Alquran (STAI-PIQ) Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. “…This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, data sources were taken through individual interviews with thirteen informants consisting of Islamic boarding school leaders, teachers and students.
