“…[8] So far only one phosphine-free monocarbenepalladium(0) complex, 1,3-dimesitylimidazol-2-ylidenepalladium(0)-h 2 ,h 2 -1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-1,3-divinyldisiloxane (1; [(IMes)Pd 0 (dvds)] has been synthesized and characterized by us. [9] Complex 1 was prepared by reacting the palladium(0) diallylether complex [(Pd 2 (dae) 3 ] [10] with 1,3-dimesitylimidazol-2-ylidene carbene (IMes) [11] in the presence of excess of 1,1,3,3tetramethyl-1,3-divinyldisiloxane (dvds) at À 30 8C.
