Abstract: Zusammenfassung: Gegenstand und Ziel: In den letzten Jahren hat die Bedeutung von Carnitin, insbesondere als Nahrungsmittelzusatz, neben dem Einsatz zur Therapie bestimmter Erkrankungen hauptsächlich in Bezug auf eine leistungssteigernde Wirkung für den Menschen, aber auch beim Tier an Bedeutung gewonnen.
